The Founders
Founded in 2017 by Charlotte Huyghues Despointes, La Maison de la Maille, based in La Flèche (Sarthe, France), has established itself as the first responsible and committed Luxury Knitwear House. Specializing in the creation of exceptional knitted throws and accessories, the company advocates 100% French manufacturing, with strong environmental responsibility at its core.
The brand quickly attracted a discerning clientele, particularly within the high-end hospitality and interior design sectors. Its creations can be found in prestigious establishments (5-star hotels and palaces), as well as in bespoke residential projects combining refinement, comfort, and responsibility.
Driven by exacting standards and meticulous attention to detail, La Maison de la Maille is rooted in a spirit of transmission, promoting exceptional craftsmanship and noble materials.
In 2025, the company opens a new chapter, remaining true to its founding values, with the ambition to expand its universe through outstanding bespoke projects.
